General eRivals.com Rules
Rivals are full responsible for understanding and compliance with all rules of Erivals.com. All rules apply to every Rival on our site. Only those rules agreed upon in the Erivals match lobby will be rules used in the games. Any other rules added into the competition are not enforceable.
We do not allow rivals to compete against one another in custom games with custom rosters and custom players. If you are found to have changed a roster to give yourself a competitive advantage, you will automatically forfeit that game. Any changing of rosters or players to custom settings may result in an automatic forfeit and potentially a ban from Erivals.com.
Lag. We understand that some Rivals don’t have the best internet connection and LAG may be a factor in some matches. If both rivals are able to play the game, then the game will have to be played. We have no way of knowing how bad the lag may be in your game, so we encourage rivals to compete in matches with very little lag. If a rival is found to be intentionally lagging or unplugging their internet connection to give themselves a competitive advantage, that rival will automatically lose that game and potentially be banned from Erivals.com.
Verifying Results and Match Termination
- Once a match has been accepted between Rivals, the rivals have 4 hours to play the match.
- If neither rival reports a result within 4 hours of the match being confirmed, the match will be considered terminated.
- Terminated matches are not reported on a Rival’s profile and the funds are returned to each individual account
- Once a match is terminated, it can no longer be played. Both Rival’s can challenge each other again, but they must do so under a new match.
- When a rival in a head to head match reports the score, the opponent must confirm or counter the results within 1 hour or the initial reported score will automatically be confirmed. This prevents deposit delays from poor sportsmanship.
Disputes
We take match disputes very seriously and want to deliver the best possible experience for all of our rivals. If a rival claims that his / her opponent has broken a rule in a match, evidence is required or the dispute claim will most likely not be considered valid.
If both rivals agree to specific settings of a match on Half Length, Controls, Game Speed and Squad Type, those settings must be played in the match. Should both Players play that match without the agreed upon match settings, the match will be considered null and void.
No rival is under any obligation to play in a match with settings that you have not agreed to.
There are no forfeits on Erivals.com. No rival may claim a reason to win a match before that match has started. Should you attempt to claim a win for an unplayed match, your account will be reviewed and potentially banned from Erivals.com.
Should you exit, quit or disconnect from a match while you are losing or tied, your match will create a dispute. If you cannot provide evidence that would give reasonable excuse for why you left the match, your match will potentially be forfeited. Any rival that exits, quits or disconnects from matches on a consistent basis will have their account reviewed and potentially banned from Erivals.com.
If you report a score for a match before the match has been completed, a dispute will be created.
Rivals that are found to be reporting incorrect or incomplete scores as final will have their accounts reviewed and potentially banned.
If you are found to be reporting inaccurate or forged information / evidence in an effort to deceive Erivals, your dispute review will result in an automatic forfeit, you will lose the full amount of the match and your account will enter review and potentially be banned.
Players should not try to deceive their opponent or Erivals in any way. If you provide inaccurate or forged information, you may forfeit your match and face further consequences.
WHAT IF MY RIVAL DOES NOT SHOW UP?
We first want to start by stating please ensure you have adjusted the time zone on your profile to reflect your time zone. Also, we offer email notifications as well as text notifications, make sure those are on to never miss a game! Erivals.com is getting a ton of signups but not everyone has the time zone and notifications adjusted accordingly.
***NEW*** Check in system has eliminated the bulk of no shows. Simply click the orange check in button on the tournament page or in your notifications. Rivals will have 15 minutes at tourney start time to check in, bracket will auto generate after the 15 minute check in period.
Please remember, if you fall to check into 3 tournaments in a week you will be restricted from entering any additional free entry tournaments. We have rivals wanting to enter the exclusive tournaments when spots are full. If you find your account has been restricted contact Support to discuss how to continue taking advantage of FREE money!
FREE Match -- Any match for free should be simply marked as incomplete by the rival that is available.
FREE Tournament (non-Finals round) -- Any tournament match no show, the rival that is online ready to play will mark the match incomplete and will move to the next round.
FREE Tournament Finals -- Any finals bearing a prize, must be played or prize will not be awarded. Finals matches are important as they will adjust your rank, exclusive badges, etc. These should be marked as incomplete by the available rival.
PAID Match -- Any match for any prize will simply be refunded back to each individual rivals account in the event of a no show.
PAID Tournament (non-Finals) -- Tournaments are a huge way to make money and in the event of a no show the rival will mark the match as incomplete and will move on. Consider it a bye. For the no show, you will forfeit match and money, again please ensure your notifications are on!
PAID Tournament Finals -- In the event of a no show, mark the match incomplete. We will try to contact the rival through all outlets. If the rival does not respond, the online rival will win the tournament, the prize, and any exclusive badges.
The admin team can adjust your responsiveness to play manually and will adjust accordingly. All create a matches have a slide stating “Ready”, if this is selected you are online ready to play. If a match or tournament starts and you are a no show this WILL affect your rank! Please be mindful as rivals are ready to play all hours of the night.
